As a starting civilian you choose a planet to live on and stay on for a certain duration. You live in your civilization helping out in the most basic ways to further your home's standing in the galaxy for your faction. There are many civilian ranks you can achieve here each with their own purpose and there are some that have purpose outside your system. Unlike combat classes the civilians only have 5 ranks.
Rank 1: Normal Civilian
This is where all civilians start out as normal beings on their home planet that is aligned to the Republic, Imperial, or Neutral and you don't leave your planet unless you have purpose or business elsewhere.
Requirements to rank up to Noble:
You must have RPed as a Normal Civilian for 50 posts.
You must have a high standing in your home by completing 2 tasks/missions.
You must have been a Normal Civilian for 1 month.
Rank 2: Noble Civilian
This is the second stage of a civilian where you have high standings on your planet as well as a good fortune allowing you to be more of an adventurer. You can leave with other Nobles and higher ranking civilians on special cruisers to the top planets in your faction like if you are of the Republic you can venture to places like Onderon, Coruscant, and even Alderaan.
Requirements to rank up to Governor:
You must have RPed as a Noble Civilian for 75 posts.
You must have visited 2 of the main planets in your faction.
You must have been a Noble Civilian for 2 months and a staff's approval.
Rank 3: Governor
You are one of the two top ranking people in your home and as well as in your system. You lead your people in the safety of your own government building and lead them through the tough times making the decisions to keep things moving smoothly. You meet with any visitors to your planet whether they be friendlies or hostiles if your council of elders think its appropriate to keep the peace. You would even take part in diplomatic missions off world in the name of your planet.
Requirements to rank up to Senator:
You must have RPed as a Governor for 200 posts.
You must have 3 staff's approval to acquire 1 out of the 3 seats available for each planet.
You must have been a Governor for 4 months.
Special Rank: Galactic Senator
As a Senator you have a seat in your faction's Galactic Senate House and make the big choices in keeping your side on top of your opponents. You are choosen for diplomatic missions in the name of your faction but it also makes you a target of more dangerous criminal people, but you too are protected by elite people. You are given top class guard by your planet or the senate to keep you safe sometimes the senate will even call to duty lightsaber weilders since the senate has as much power as the Jedi Order and the Sith Council.
Requirements to rank up to Chancellor:
You must have RPed as a Senator for 400 posts.
You must have the administrator's approval.
You must have been a Senator for 4 months.
Special Rank: Galactic Chancellor
With this rank you are the most important person in your galatic space and there are only 3 Chancellors in the whole galaxy, one for the Galactic Republic, Council of Neutral Systems, and the Imperial Sith Empire. You have the support of your senate and you make the real choices that lead you to victory in any battles or wars that take place.
